CallSteady ("we," "our," or "us") operates callsteady.ai. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our AI voice receptionist service.
Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and business information.
Call Data: Our service processes inbound phone calls on your behalf. This may include call recordings, transcripts, caller phone numbers, and the content of conversations handled by our AI.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with our service, including call volumes, response times, and feature usage.
Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card information.
With your consent and your compliance with applicable laws (including informing callers that calls may be recorded), CallSteady records and transcribes calls handled by the AI. Call recordings are stored securely and are accessible only to authorized users on your account. You may delete recordings at any time from your dashboard.
It is your responsibility to comply with all applicable call recording consent laws in your jurisdiction, including notifying callers that they may be interacting with an AI system.
If you are a HIPAA-covered entity or business associate, you must execute a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with CallSteady before using our service to handle calls that may contain Protected Health Information (PHI). Please contact us at hello@callsteady.ai to request a BAA. Our HIPAA-compliant tier includes additional safeguards including encrypted storage, access controls, and audit logging.

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Call recordings and transcripts are retained for 90 days by default; you may delete them earlier via your dashboard. After account termination, we delete your data within 30 days unless required by law to retain it longer.
